Quinta dos Avós has a 3000m2 built area in a 61000m2 estate.

The manor house

The main house is a manor house that appears in 17th century registers.   It has two flats and a tower with a magnificent view over the plain and neighbouring towns.

In the ground-floor there’s the family house and a chapel.    In the first floor there are well-equipped, finely decorated bedrooms for guests.    They all have a private bathroom, air-conditioning, telephone, television and Internet access. In the centre there’s a big lounge, accessible from the main entrance and from the swimming-pool and the restaurant.

Casa Alentejana    In front of the manor house there’s a typical Alentejo house. It has a living room with a fireplace, two bedrooms with bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, television.

The restaurant    In this typical former kitchen you can taste regional food.

The swimming-pool    The swimming-pool is located in a vast space near the house. It has an area of 110m2, is 1.50m deep in average and it’s surrounded by lawn.    Near the swimming-pool you can find the porch with the barbecue and further away the tennis court.

The park

The Quinta has two alleys that lead to a magnificent lake, the lions’ lake, in front of a grotto and its cascade. They surround the orchard and you can walk and jog there.    Along the alleys box-trees, walnut- trees, medlar-trees and decorative banks…

The rural area

The estate is surrounded by walls. In the middle, there’s an orchard with orange, lemon and kaki-trees and all around, high trees and olive-trees.    The whole area (60000m2) is available for you.
